Sat 15 May
19:00 - 21:00Jazz night
St Mary's Church, Longworth
The Nick Malcolm Ensemble will be performing a programme of modern and classic jazz, vocal and instrumental music. The band comprises Nick Malcolm (Trumpet), Sarah Hoblyn (vocals), Martin Pickett (piano), Paul Jefferies (double bass) and Matt Fisher (drums).
This is advanced warning of what is bound to be a sell out concert! An exceptionally gifted group from Oxford will give us a taste of a variety of Jazz music that will both enthral and delight you - you will be very sad to have missed it! Some of us in the village have had an advanced chance to hear them and so we are opening the doors to a larger audience. They are brilliant! The first half of the programme will last for apporximately 3/4 hr followed by refreshments and a further approximate 3/4 session.
To reserve your seats please contact Bruce Williams as details below. The ticket price will be £15 per head. Concessions - Over 60s or members of the Friends of Longworth Church - £10. The ticket price includes refreshments during the 1/2 hr interval.

The concert will be in aid of the Friends of Longworth Church which is a new charity set up simply to protect the fabric of the Church.
